Sauna

Enjoy the fantastic combination of beach and beach sauna. Our sandy beach is located in the private bay and because of its shallow waters it is ideal for families with children. If you want, you can spend all the day by the sunny Puruvesi. In the winter your have opportunity to try out ice swimming.

Smoke sauna by the lake gives you unforgettable enjoyments. (Only advance booking in summer time.)     

Nature trail

In the nature area around Karjalan Kievari you will find beautiful nature trail. We have established information boards by the trail for all the nature wanderer.

Trip skating

There is a trip skating route starting from Karjalan Kievari and ending in Ruoke Holiday Village. The length of the route is around 7 km. (Only when the lake is ice covered.)     

Fishing

Lake Puruvesi and Pyhäjärvi are well-known for their finny and clear waters. Therefore these lakes offer a great opportunity for water activities. In Kievari´s own salmon pond you can relax while fishing. We take good care of the pond´s welfare, so there are also BIG fishes in the water… Fishing licences are on the sale in Karjalan Kievari. In the winter the salmon pond is the best choice for ice fishing.     

Guest harbour

Our modern guest harbour serves variedly all our quests arriving with their own boats. Safe mooring places are situated conveniently right by the services. There is a waste water tank in the quest harbour.     

Snowmobiling

Snowmobile route runs right by the Kievari. You can book accommodation and sauna from us and come for a snowmobile safari in Kesälahti. There are great route connections from Kesälahti to central Karelia and even further. You will find fuel after 1 km.
